Any MLS listing will eclipse any FSBO listing you have on Zillow. A listing cannot be for sale by owner and concurrently listed on the MLS, as you must employ a licensed agent or broker in order to list on the MLS. We do not control Zillow or any public/third party site as these sites syndicate directly from MLS data. MLS data will always override any concurrent FSBO listing you have on Zillow.
We recommend to take down your Zillow FSBO listing to prevent syndication issues, as sometimes having a FSBO listing up when the MLS is published can interrupt the MLS data from syndicating to public sites, such as Zillow, correctly.
Public sites do not permit seller contact information to be shown for privacy protection reasons. This is why you will see HomeRise's agent or broker for your MLS area, under HomeRise's parent brokerage, Trelora or Houwzer (as applicable by your state), on the listing on public sites.
Your contact information is entered into the MLS and into ShowingTime for agents to view and contact you directly. Any inquiries for your property that arrive to any of our channels are forwarded for you to handle directly as well.
HomeRise is a limited services platform so you show the home yourself and negotiate any offer directly, but you are still listed on the MLS by a broker and would need to be entered as the listing agent on any contract of sale.
